About the event

We’re excited to announce that Nikole Hannah-Jones, the visionary Pulitzer Prize-winning creator of the #1619Project and acclaimed staff writer at The New York Times Magazine, will be gracing us as one of the esteemed special guests at the Black Women's Health Imperative's (BWHI) 40th Anniversary!

As we come together to celebrate four decades of empowering Black women's health and well-being, we invite you all to join us at the State of Black on September 22, 2023, at Spelman College, Atlanta, Georgia, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Together, we will continue our journey towards health equity, reproductive justice, and social well-being for Black women nationwide.
