About the event
Join A.Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center Saturday, June 8th for their 2nd annual Juneteenth Film Festival with special filmmaker Dr. Boaz Dvir, Professor, Penn State and the life story of the late Gloria J. Merrix, the teacher who revolutionized education in Gainesville while teaching at Duval Elementary school. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by The City of Gainesville and Alachua County Public Schools.
